In Shasta Lake (just outside Redding, CA) there’s a family fun center with a pretty awesome mini golf course. Where there’s mini golf, you can’t act surprised to see us not far behind!
While the temperatures might be a bit less forgiving than they are nearer the coast, it’s still a very fun place, and a masterfully constructed course. It has gentle slopes, forgiving valleys, and seemingly nothing broken, at least as of our visit. That’s pretty rare for any course.
It’s right off the freeway, and not far from the Turtle Bay Exploration Park, which is itself a can’t-miss attraction.
Open daily, but bring your sunscreen and get ready to putt!
